1. Information We Collect
When you sign up, we collect your email address and authentication provider information (Google or email). When you use NarraScript, we store the scripts you generate, your usage history, and style templates you save. We do not collect payment information directly — payments are processed by Stripe.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide the service: generating commentary scripts, saving your history and templates, and managing your subscription. We may use anonymized usage patterns to improve our AI prompts and service quality. We never sell your personal data.
3. AI-Generated Content
Scripts are generated by third-party AI models (DeepSeek, OpenAI). The movie or show titles you enter are sent to these providers as part of the generation process. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for how they handle prompt data. We do not use your generated scripts to train AI models.
4. YouTube & Third-Party Content
When you provide a YouTube URL for style learning, we extract publicly available subtitles or audio transcripts. We do not download, store, or redistribute the video content. This feature is designed for fair use — learning the stylistic patterns of publicly available commentary.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with industry-standard OAuth and JWT token management. You can delete your scripts and templates at any time from the History and Templates pages.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication (Supabase session tokens). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.
7. Your Rights
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time through the app. To request complete account deletion, contact us at support@narrascript.co. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
